’84 riot victims’ group to support BJP in Delhi election
Delhi elections 2020: All India Riot Victims Relief Committee-1984 (AIRVRC), led by Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), on Wednesday announced the support to BJP in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections 2020. AIRVRC president Kuldip Singh Bhogal announced the same after a meeting of executive committee of the organisation. Also, AIRVRC has extended support to the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and stated that "it does not take citizenship, but grants it to minorities, including Sikhs, persecuted in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan". Bhogal said that "AIRVRC has decided to support BJP in the election and the CAA."
