2 accused arrested in Patiala petrol pump robbery In a major breakthrough, two accused have been arrested by the Punjab Police in the Patiala petrol pump robbery case, here on Friday. The accused have been identified as Makkhan Singh and Sikandar Singh, the police said.  On Sunday night, three unidentified men on a Royal Enfield (Bullet) motorcycle held employees of the Guru Nanak filling station at Chamarheri village captive at gunpoint. The assailants had killed Kuldeep Singh, a driver who was refueling his truck, and Davinder Singh of Alampur village. They had also looted the petrol station employees of Rs 11,000. The assailants had asked one of the employees, Laddi, to hand over the money. They had frisked him and found Rs 6,000 in his pocket. They had then searched Kuldeep, who was lying in a pool of blood, and taken Rs 5,000 from him. Kuldeep was fired at him from a point blank range with a .32 pistol that has been recovered by the Punjab Police today. Three cases of robbery and burglary have already been registered against Sikandar Singh.  The police is interrogating and the search is on for the third accused. -PTC News
