2 arrested for burning copies of the Bible, Geeta, Quran, Guru Granth Sahib Two people have been arrested here in the national capital for burning copies of the Bible, Gita, Quran, Guru Granth Sahib and the Constitution of India on August 15 at India Gate on the occasion of India's 72nd Independence Day. This is the second such act in as many weeks as the Delhi Police had on August 9 filed an FIR (first information report) against a fringe group named Azad Sena, invoking provisions of Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, for burning the Constitution during a protest at Parliament Street last Thursday. -PTC News
