20 army personnel killed in Afghanistan clashes
At least 20 army personnel lost their lives after Taliban attacked Gulistan district in Farah in Afghanistan on Monday. According to media reports, 11 Taliban militants were also killed in the clashes. Also, 18 Taliban militants were also killed in an airstrike in Bakwa region today.

More than 25 militant were injured in the same attack. Official confirmation of the army personnel's death is awaited. 50 drug processing centres, belonging to the Taliban, were also destroyed in the airstrike at Bakwa.

According to media reports, 50 civilians were affected in the airstrikes. Though, police dismissed the claim.
