20-year-old Punjabi youth charged with attempted murder in Brampton banquet hall stabbing
The local police has arrested a 20-year-old Punjabi youth from Brampton on Friday. He was charged with attempt to murder and aggravated assault charges in Brampton banquet hall stabbing. The incident occurred on December 2, Speranza Banquet Hall on Deerhurst Drive in Brampton.

Just shortly after midnight, a quarrel broke out that involved up to 50 people. During a fight, a 31-year-old Mississauga man received life-threatening stab injuries. He was rushed to the trauma centre for treatment. Also, a 49-year-old man also received stab injuries and was also, taken to the local hospital.
