22-YEAR-OLD’S GANG RAPE: Victim was raped 4 times
The 22-year-old girl was raped four times on the day of the incident. Police sources said Kismat Ali alias Poppu raped the victim twice. The victim was taken to a forest area in Sector 53 and raped by Poppu first then raped by Mohammad Irfan followed by Mohammad Garib. After the trio raped the victim, Poppu raped her again. The sources said since the auto was parked on the slip road, Irfan got scared that someone might see it after which all three escaped from the spot leaving the victim behind. The police said the tower location of Irfan’s mobile phone was of the area where the gang rape incident took place. Later, the accused went to Sector 35 before returning to Zirakpur. The victim, a native of Dehradun, had hired the auto from Sector 37 for Mohali on November 17. The auto already had two male occupants, who were known to the driver. The auto was stopped near a forest area in Sector 53 where the trio gang raped her in the forest. -PTC News
