26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed arrested from Lahore, sent to judicial custody

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Punjab Police (Pakistan's) arrested the 26/11 terror attack mastermind and Jamat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed from Lahore, on Wednesday and has been sent to the judicial custody. Hafiz Saeed who was declared the global terrorist recently by the United Nations has been arrested from Lahore when he was on his way to Gujranwala. The arrest has come up after Pakistan re-opened the airspace and before Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is set to visit White House to help improve the relationship with the United States. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1151458280071413763 Pakistan counter-terrorism department stated that they have registered 23 cases against Jamat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed and 23 others for using five trusts to "raise funds for terrorism financing". https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1151398503358369792 Meanwhile, a special public prosecutor in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack case, Ujjwal Nikam, spoke up on the arrest of Hafiz Saeed.
