2950 boxes of illicit liquor seized in Khanna
Acting on a tip-off, Khanna police on Tuesday seized as many as 2950 boxes of country-made illicit liquor from two trucks in Khanna . It was being smuggled from Taran Taran to Khanna.

Khanna police nabbed three persons and seized their trucks near Fatehgarh Sahib District.

The police booked the accused at the Khanna Sadar police station. Excise -inspector harjeet Singh said a case under the sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against the accused.
