3 US military personnel killed in Taliban suicide bombing attack in Afghanistan
Three United States military personnel were killed while three others were injured in Afghanistan Suicide bombing on Monday. One contractor was also killed when an explosive-laden vehicle targeted a convoy of US forces. The explosion took place near Bagram airbase, a major air hub for the US forces in Eastern Afghanistan. The attack took place around 5:35 pm (local time) near the third gate of the Bagram airfield.

The Islamist insurgent group, Taliban, claimed the responsibility of the massive explosion. The spokesperson further said, “killed and injured 10 American invaders." Taliban claims are often inflated for such attacks.
