30-year-old Professor committed suicide when college administration denied to   A thirty-year-old Assistant Professor of Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) in  Chennai allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with fan at his residence on Monday. The Professor took the extreme step after the college administration allegedly refused to release his original documents.   Also read- Cabinet Minister’s under scanner: Captain to meet Rahul today   The deceased identified as T Vasanthavanan, a resident of Ambal Nagar,had joined the private engineering college for a month before being offered a temporary faculty post at MIT. He had also informed the college beforehand that he may leave soon if he got selected for the post. Despite it, the college administration allegedly refused to return his supported job documents.   Meanwhile.the Chennai police has registered a case under the sections of  Indian penal code (IPC).
