33-year-old dies of drug overdose in Jalandhar
A 33-year-old man died of drug overdose in Punjab’s Jalandhar on Wednesday . The victim has been identified as Avtar, 33, of Tilak Nagar in Jalandhar.The body of the deceased was handed over to the family after autopsy.

Victim’s brother Paramjeet said his brother did not used to go to work. He left the house on Tuesday afternoon. In the evening, two villagers told him that Avtar was lying unconscious at an abandoned place.

Meanwhile,the police has initiated an inquest proceedings under section 174 of CrPC.
