4 Days old Infant among 145 new cases of Coronavirus in Chandigarh
The Coronavirus cases seem to increase at a large scale in Chandigarh.
The total number of patients tested in the city are 24693 out of which the active cases at present are 1270.
Saturday saw the highest spike in the cases as 145 new cases were reported in 24 hours which also included a lot of children, among them is a 4 days old girl from Sector 15, Chandigarh. Whereas the recovery number stands at 45 people.
Seeing the situation worsening, Chandigarh administration had ordered a closure of all shops & establishments, except essential services in Chandigarh on Saturdays and Sundays, until further orders.
The curfew timings in Chandigarh continue to be from 10 pm to 5 am. There is no ban on movement of people or goods on weekends, though all the liquor shops will remain closed on weekends. The RLA Office will also remain closed on weekends.

The notice read that the marriage events fixed for this weekend in Chandigarh can continue, only shops/markets are to be closed. Guest limit must be adhered.
