5 members of the Texas family, including an infant, found shot dead
Five members of a Texas family including a 15-month-old girl were found shot dead on Tuesday at their home. Bodies of two men were found inside the house while the bodies of two women and the baby girl were found outside the house. The Polk County sheriff’s officials identified the deceased as Ashley Delaney, her husband Randy Horn, and Delaney’s in-laws, Carlos and Lynda Delaney.
According to media reports, Randy Horn shot his family before turning the gun on him.
Briefing the media, Chief Deputy Byron Lyons said that Ashley Delaney’s mother was found safe and locked in a bedroom closet. She told the officers that she woke up to the noises at around 5:30 am on Monday. She immediately locked herself in the closet and informed her son and police.
Emergency responders told that they received a call for help around 10:30 am. Police and emergency responders reached the spot. After reaching the crime spot, the police called it a horrific scene and horrible crime. It safely took the women out of the closet.
Police also recovered the gun from the house.

Chilling Facebook Posts:
Randy Horn left cryptic Facebook messages hours before the family found dead. He uploaded a photo of the floor covered with blood. He wrote in a caption: “And this is why I can’t be out in the bars at night…blood on the floor!”
On the same day, Horn wrote another Facebook post. It read: “It’s time to pay up for all the bad decisions you made in life. “Never bet your life on someone because you never know.”
