5 students of St. Stephens’ School hurt as minivan overturns
Five students of St. Stephens’ School were injured when their minivan overturned at Sector 51/52 light point here today. The minivan jumped red light and hit a car before overturning at the light point.

According to the media sources, the speeding minivan filled with school students jumped the red light and rammed into his car. Following which, the minivan overturned that left five students injured.

The passerby rescued the students. The injured were rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Sector 32. All the students received minor injuries and were discharged after first aid.
A case has been registered against Hamesh, driver of the bus for negligence driving. The police has impounded the minivan.
