50-year-old woman of Jandoli village dies of swine flu Swine flu (H1N1 Influenza) claimed its first life in Punjab. A 50-year-old woman of Jandoli village in Rajpura died because of Swine flu on Tuesday. The woman has been identified as Balwinder Kaur. After she was tested positive for Swine Flu, she was undergoing treatment in Government Medical College and Hospital, sector 32. The state programme officer for vector-borne diseases, Dr Gagandeep Singh Grover, told the media that the woman contracted the infection from Uttar Pradesh during her pilgrimage in Mathura on September 6, 2018.
