550th Parkash Purab: International Nagar Kirtan departs from Kolkata to Kharagpur, West Bengal

550th Parkash Purab: The International Nagar Kirtan on Friday departed from Kolkata to the next destination Kharagpur in West Bengal. The Palki Sahib arrived Kolkata on Wednesday, where it was rested. On Thursday, the International Nagar Kirtan was taken across Kolkata and rested in the same city. Later, as it was scheduled the International Nagar Kirtan has been taken further for the next destination in West Bengal i.e. Kharagpur. https://www.facebook.com/ptcnewsonline/videos/2599302333439719/?t=132 The International Nagar Kirtan is here to celebrate the 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, which is indeed a historical moment for all the Sikh devotees in India. Meanwhile, it is pertinent to mention that the Palki Sahib entered India on August 01, 2019 from Sri Nankana Sahib in Pakistan via Wagah Border in Amritsar. Moreover, Kolkata welcomed the International Nagar Kirtan with full prosperity and devotion. The people across the city visited the place where Palki Sahib was rested. The International Nagar Kirtan was scheduled to mark the journey across India which has covered more than half of it.
