550th Parkash Purb celebrations start on world stage,There is considerable excitement in the Sangat over the 550th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. While devotees in India are gearing up for celebrations on a large scale, the Nanak Naam Leva Sangat around the world is also doing everything possible to make the celebrations truly memorable. In view of the Union government’s instructions to international embassies to ensure celebrations are world-class, the Indian embassy in Rome, Italy and Consulate office, Milan are organizing special programmes dedicated to the 550th Parkash Purb. The embassy is also setting up passport camps at various places. Besides, exhibitions on the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji are being organized. The first of these exhibitions is being held at Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Flero, Brascia, Italy from November 1 to 3. -PTC News
