550th Parkash Purb: Celebrations were held all over the world to commemorate the 550th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on Tuesday. Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) organised a Light and Sound show at the main pandal of Gurdwara Ber Sahib in Sultanpur Lodhi. Here are some of the photos from Light and Sound show in Sultanpur Lodhi: Staged on a huge 160 feet by 40 feet stage, the multimedia sound and light show put up by SGPC used 13 different technologies to create an hour long immersive experience. Based on a script by the “Shakespeare of Punjabi” Dr Charan Das Sidhu, it was directed by veteran theatre director Ravi Taneja. Produced specially for this event by Showcraft with PTC Network as the knowledge partner, the show had originally composed Shabads and songs with over 120 actors while narrating the wisdom of Nanak and subtly implying its relevance in today’s world. A huge facade replica of Nankana Sahab was created over which projection mapping was done with state of the art projectors. A foreign crew was specially flown in to pilot the 150 drones which formed “Kal Taran Guru Nanak Aaya” and “Ek Onkar” with unique fly lights. Country’s biggest fireworks experts, Moranis, were engaged for the awe-inspiring fireworks and laser show. Devotees organised Gurubani Kirtan as well as discourses on the life and teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on the sprawling stage. President Ram Nath Kovind also paid obeisance at Gurdwara Ber Sahib in Sultanpur Lodhi on the occasion. https://www.ptcnews.tv/photos-ashtonishing-view-of-gurdwara-darbar-sahib-kartarpur-ahead-of-550th-birth-anniversary-of-sri-guru-nanak-dev-ji/ On November 9, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Sultanpur Lodhi and offered prayers at Gurdwara Ber Sahib before inaugurating the Integrated Check Post of Kartarpur Corridor. https://www.facebook.com/ptcnewsonline/videos/572199476882473/ -PTC News
