Coronavirus Punjab: At least six patients died at a private hospital in Amritsar on Friday night allegedly due to a shortage of medical oxygen. The deceased included five patients who were battling COVID-19. As per the report, the authorities of Neel Kanth hospital in Amritsar said that they informed the district administration of the shortage of oxygen two days ago.

Meanwhile, the Punjab Health minister Balbir Sidhu said that a probe by officials will ascertain the exact reason for death in Amritsar hospital. He denied the allegation that private hospitals were not being given enough supply of medical oxygen.
