600 police personnel deployed in Chandigarh today for Christmas Nearly six-hundred police personnel have been deployed today in the city for Christmas, especially outside the churches to maintain law & order. The police has decided to increase the security outside the churches on Christmas to avoid any untoward event. Also Read: Section 144 To Be Imposed In Jwalamukhi Town, Himachal Pradesh The police has been deployed outside the churches in Sector 8, 9, 24, 19 and 44. Proper security and traffic arrangements have been made to maintain law and order at all places in the City Beautiful. Today, three DSPs, 563 police personnel and 16 SHOs have been deployed to ensure no untoward incident takes place.
