A builder forged documents to grab bungalow of actor Dilip Kumar: A case of cheating has been registered against a builder by the Economic Offences Wing of the Mumbai Police for allegedly trying to grab the bungalow of veteran actor Dilip Kumar in suburban Bandra. An official told that Samir Bhojwani, a builder fallaciously claimed ownership of the two plots on which the bungalow was built in the upscale Pali Hill area of Bandra in Mumbai.Police suspect that Bhojwani counterfeit certain documents to grab the bungalow, he said. Saira Banu , Dilip Kumar's wife recently reached the police and lodged a complaint against Bhojwani . It is reported that the case had been registered against the builder on Monday, Deputy Commissioner of Police (EOW) Parag Manere said. "We are investigating the case thoroughly and action will be taken accordingly," he said.As per the complaint, the legendary actor had bought both the plots of the bungalow in 1953 for Rs 1.40 lakh, another police official said.However, Bhojwani, who is on the run, claimed that his father bought the property in the 1980s from the Mulraj Khatau Trust, he said. A team of police and other EOW officials had raided the residence of the builder after the registration of the case. It is reported that Police had seized weapons, including knives and daggers during the raid. -PTC News
