The friendship between India and the United States was on showy display as Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed US President Donald Trump at the mega show “Howdy Modi” in Houstan on Sunday. The NGR stadium witnessed a huge number of gatherings over the visit of PM Modi. Trump, who became the US President in 2017 with an overwhelming support of the middle-class white Americals, is looking for re-election in 2020 Presidential elections.
PM Modi said, “We in India have connected well with the President Donald Trump. Abki baar Trump sarkaar rang loud and clear…” Meanwhile, the newspaper “The Washington Post” reported that there’s a strong political reason for the President Donald Trump to attend the Howdy Modi event.” “The rally… provides Trump with access to a potential pool of Indian American voters that could turn out to be critical in next year’s presidential elections,” the newspaper reads.
