Abohar resident dies of swine flu
Swine Flu (H1N1 virus) has claimed another life in Punjab. A resident of Khubban village in Abohar lost his battle with Swine Flu on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Buta Singh (34).

His family members told the media that Buta Singh had high fever earlier in the week, following which he was admitted to the Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital at Faridkot. He succumbed to deadly Influenza on Saturday.

Senior Medical Officer Dr Ravi Bansal briefed the media that there were no reports of any other patient with Influenza symptoms. The hospital also examined the affected family on Monday.
