Wash your hands: If you are suffering from common cold, make sure you wash your hands. It is your best bet to prevent it from spreading it. Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently. Germs commonly spread because we touch something with germs on it and ultimately our faces.
Use Hand Sanitizer. If you don’t have access to water and soap, then use alcohol-based hand sanitizer. They usually contain 60 per cent alcohol and it kills most germs including cold viruses.
Cover Your Cough. If you have a Common cold, then it is essential to cover to cover your mouth with a tissue or with the inside of your elbow. It is the most important step as your germs could fly as far as 6 feet away. If you use a tissue then you catch most of the germs in the tissue and you can dispose it off.
Eat Right, Exercise, Get Enough Sleep. This mantra is very easy to follow and it is a true way to keep your body healthy. If you will take care of yourself, it will strengthen your immunity system and viola, this common cold will not be so common for you.
Don’t share: Don’t share your utensils or glasses with with other family member. By sharing your utensils with your germs on it, there are pretty good chances that they will also catch a cold.
