Aeroplane with 100 people on board catches fire in Tehran An aeroplane with 100 passengers on board caught fire at Tehran's Mehrabad Airport on Tuesday. According to media reports, no causalities were reported. All the passengers on board were evacuated safely. The fire broke out after the aircraft’s landing gear failed to open properly. The officials are trying to find the exact cause of the fire. The model of the plane is yet to be disclosed.
