After 15 years, Shivraj Singh Chouhan resigns as Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday tendered his resignation to the Governor. The Congress is the single-largest party in the state with 114 seats, while the BJP has managed to win 109 seats.   BJP's three-time Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that he will not stake claim to form government. He said, "We did not get majority, will not stake claim to form government. I am going to tender my resignation to the Governor." - PTC News  -
