After 27 years of marriage, the co-founder of Microsoft Bill Gates and Melinda Gates announced their divorce on Tuesday. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, the pair command an estimated $146 billion. The duo made no public hint about financial plans. However, they emphasized that they will cooperate on their philanthropy. The duo further said that "We continue to share a belief in that mission and will continue our work together at the foundation, but we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in this next phase of our lives. We ask for space and privacy for our family as we begin to navigate this new life." The 65-year-old co-founder of Microsoft Corp., Bill Gates, is the world's fourth-richest person.
