Farmers protesting against the three farm laws on Thursday vacated a portion of the service road at Delhi's Gazipur border. Talking to the media, BKU leader Rakesh Tikait said that the farmers had never blocked the service road at the Ghazipur border, it was the police which blocked the way. "We never blocked the way, it was the police who did this. We are just clearing the road to make our way towards Parliament to protest against the three farm laws," said Rakesh Tikait. Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court said farmers had the right to protest, but they could not keep roads blocked indefinitely. Meanwhile, the BKU also posted on its official Twitter account that rumors are being spread that the Gazipur border is being vacated, which is completely baseless. -PTC News
