Air India plane hits wall at Stockholm Arlanda Airport
A passenger plane operated by Air India struck a building on Wednesday at Stockholm's Arlanda airport. The plane carrying 179 passengers collided with the exterior wall of the airport. The plane was taxied to the gate of the building. The tip of the passenger plane’s left wing rammed into the building about 50 meters from Terminal 5. And this terminal is the main terminal for international flights.

No causalities have been reported so far. The actual cause of the accident was not known immediately. The aircraft was parked in the runway with the left wing’s tip collided in the side of the building. Fire trucks were rushed to the spot. Earlier in October, an Air India flight with 136 passengers on board ran into the boundary wall of Trichy airport. The express flight was diverted to Mumbai. All passengers and crew members were safe. There were some noticeable damages to the aircraft. Air India officials arranged another flight for the passengers. -PTC NEWS
