Air Marshal Arvindra Singh Butola, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command, inspected 1 TETTRA school on Thursday. The Air Marshal was presented with a guard of honour on his arrival at the station.

The Air Marshal visited various training and ancillary facilities available at the school towards imparting technical type training on latest generation fighter aircraft and helicopter. During the visit, he was briefed on various developmental activities underway in the school towards imbibing training on latest technological trends in aircraft maintenance.

The Air Marshal unveiled a bust of Air Chief Marshal DA La Fontaine, former Chief of the Air Staff and founder of TETTRA Schools in Indian Air Force.

During the visit, the Air Marshal interacted with trainees and instructional staff for first hand feedback on the quality of training being imparted. He emphasised on the need for continuous training and re-skilling to achieve greater operational preparedness.
