Air pollution: Delhi schools reopen for all classes
Delhi air pollution: Schools in Delhi reopened on Monday as overall air quality improved slightly. All schools and colleges were closed due to high air pollution levels in the city.
Delhi's overall air quality was in the 'very poor' category on Monday, according to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR).

The Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia had on Saturday announced that all schools in Delhi will reopen from November 29.

Earlier on November 21, the Directorate of Education, Delhi, had announced that all schools in Delhi will remain shut for physical classes till further orders due to rising levels of air pollution in the national capital.
To tackle increasing air pollution levels in the national capital, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had on November 13 announced a ‘pollution lockdown’ under which the schools were closed for physical classes for a week.
Later, it was announced to keep the schools shut till further orders.
The PM10 was recorded at 353 in the 'very poor' category and PM 2.5 was recorded at 211 in the 'very poor' category at 7:53 am.
