Ambati Rayudu announces retirement, gets offer from Iceland Cricket amid ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 snub
Indian batsman Ambati Rayudu announced his retirement from International cricket with immediate effect. Ambati Rayudu will play the Indian Premier League as he has already retired from the first-class cricket. Later, he was put on the standby, but after Shikhar Dhawan and Vijay Shankar injury, the doors were open for the classic batsman Ambati Rayudu. However, the BCCI decided to send Rishabh Panth as a replacement for Shikhar Dhawan and Mayank Aggarwal in place of Vijay Shankar. Iceland Cricket said and I quote, "Agarwal has three professional wickets at 72.33 so at least @RayuduAmbati can put away his 3D glasses now. He will only need normal glasses to read the document we have prepared for him. Come join us Ambati. We love Rayudu things".
