Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Aam Aadmi Party candidate Aman Arora has been fielded in Sunam for the upcoming 2022 Punjab Assembly election. He contested elections from Sunam in 2007 and 2012 on the ticket of Congress. In 2016, he joined Aam Aadmi Party and became the Co-President of the Punjab state unit.
