BSF seizes 2 kg Heroin and pistol worth Rs 10 crore in Tarn Taran
The Border Security Force (BSF) jawans on Sunday seizes 2 kg of heroin with an estimated market value of Rs 10 crore from Indo-Pakistan border in Tarn Taran. It also seized a China-made pistol.

BSF jawans who were on duty found the packets of heroin near the border. A search operation was launched by the BSF after some suspicious movements were seen near the border fence. The packets found were 1 kg each.

In 2018, the BSF had seized near 230 kg of heroin along the Indo-Pakistan border. Following which, the BSF had been ordered to maintain extra vigil on the border to eliminate the smugglers and their activity.
