The CBI on Friday opposed their bill and demanded that the custody of the three trustees of Ryan International School be granted to the investigating agency.

The CBI also said that the role of Pintos in a likely larger conspiracy cannot be ruled out and that the Pintos' role needs to be examined as the case is on its crucial turn.

As per reports, the investigating agencies had earlier cited that the Pintos- Augustine Pinto, Grace Pinto and Ryan Pinto- were involved in the destruction of evidence in the case.

The Pintos were granted an anticipatory bail by the Punjab and Haryana High Court in October which the family of the victim had opposed and challenged.

Pradyuman Thakur, a class 2nd student of the Ryan International School was found murdered in the school washroom in the school premises. While the police had claimed that the bus conductor was behind the alleged killing, the CBI lens on the class XI student brought a new twist in the case.  After which the accused refused and said he was forced to confess.
