Delhi COVID-19 cases are at peak now: Satyendar Jain

While coronavirus cases in Delhi are rising day by day, the state Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Monday said that Delhi COVID-19 cases are at peak now. Most cases are from the working class. We've increased 110 ICU beds in govt hospitals," Satyendra Jain said while briefing about Delhi's COVID-19 peak. Talking about MCD employees going on an indefinite strike from Monday, Satyendar Jain said, "It's beyond my understanding how MCD mayors pay salaries of employees, whenever there's a strike. Delhi reported 7745 new cases, 6069 recoveries, and discharges, while 77 new deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. Of total 4,38,529 cases, 41,857 are active cases, 3,89,683 have been cured and discharged while 6989 have succumbed to the pandemic. -PTC News
