PTC News Desk: Prime Minister Modi on Monday said that he feels fortunate to celebrate this year's Diwali with the Indian Navy aboard the indigenous aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant.

Describing the experience of spending the night on board the aircraft carrier, he told the personnel, “I have been among you since yesterday, and every moment I have learned something to live in the moment. Your dedication is so high that I could not live it, but I have definitely experienced it. I can imagine how difficult it must be to live through this.”

He also described the experience of witnessing the deep ocean at night and early morning as surreal.

"Today, on one side I have infinite horizons, infinite sky, and on the other side I have this giant, INS Vikrant, embodying infinite powers. The glow of the sun's rays on the ocean's waters is like the Diwali lamps lit by brave soldiers," he added.
