Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Parminder Singh Gill nominated from Gurdaspur assembly seat. Gill, who had sought ticket from Congress back in 2017 Assembly elections, left the party on not receiving any. He joined hands with BJP in January 2022.
Punjab Assembly elections 2022 are scheduled to be held on February 20 while the counting of votes will be held on March 10.
