Poll rigging video released by SAD in MC elections in Patiala

Shiromani Akali Dal on Monday released a video footage of alleged poll rigging and bogus voting during the Municipal Corporation elections in Patiala.

The CD was sought under the RTI from the Deputy Commissioner in Patiala.

The senior leader Surjit Singh Rakhra said they would gherao the Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday over the issue. 

Rakhra said, “We will seek justice at any cost,” adding, “Will first file a memorandum to the Patiala DC seeking action and then approach the High Court in this regard.”
