Punjab declares holiday on July 31 to mark Sardar Udham Singh martyrdom day

Decision applies to all state departments, including those in Punjab Civil Secretariat, and sub-offices in Chandigarh and Mohali

PTC Web Desk: The Punjab Government has announced holiday in all government offices and institutions across the state on Wednesday, July 31, to mark the martyrdom day of legendary freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh.

According to an official notification issued by the Department of Personnel (PP-III Branch), government offices, boards, corporations, and educational institutions will remain closed. The decision applies to all state departments, including those in Punjab Civil Secretariat, and sub-offices in Chandigarh and Mohali.
