Punjab declares holiday in Gurdaspur, Kapurthala and Amritsar on November 9

Punjab government, on Friday, declared a public holiday in Gurdaspur, Kapurthala and Amritsar on November 9 for celebrations of the 550th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. India and Pakistan have initiated historic steps to open Kartarpur Corridor ahead of the 550th Parkash Purb.
