Punjab, Haryana DGPs gets extension in Service till Jan 31
Punjab DGP and 1982-batch IPS officer Suresh Arora has been given a one - month extension in service.
The Supreme Court on Wednesday allowed the Director General of Police (DGPs) of Punjab to continue in office till January 31. A bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi allowed the current DGPs to continue in office till January 31,2019.
The Supreme Court also allowed Haryana DGP, B S Sandhu continue in office till January 31 next year. Both DGPs were due to retire on He was to retire on December 31 this year.
