After WhatsApp and Telegram, now Instagram has officially launched the long-awaited edit message feature, enabling users to make changes to their sent text messages within a 15-minute window.
Now, it has been rolled out globally, providing users with the convenience of correcting mistakes without having to delete the entire message.
This feature marks a noteworthy improvement for anyone who has experienced the discomfort of sending a message containing an embarrassing mistake. Whether it's a typo, a factual error, or a change of mind, users now have the option to correct it without the awkwardness of having to unsend the message.
It's important to note that edited messages will be labelled with an "edited" tag next to the timestamp, indicating that changes have been made. However, recipients won't have access to the editing history of the text
