Redmi Buds 5 India Launch: Redmi has announced the India launch date for its upcoming earbuds, Redmi Buds 5. The company announced on its online platforms that the device will be available in the country next week.
Some key specifications for the Redmi Buds 5 have also been revealed, including 46dB hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC) and 12.4mm drivers. The new product will be available just a month after the Redmi Note 13 5G series was launched in the country.

The Chinese smartphone maker teased the earbuds in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), revealing that the headset will be released on February 12. More information about the Redmi Buds 5 was provided on a landing page created on Redmi's website.

The True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earphones will have 12.4mm dynamic drivers. The device's Hybrid ANC can cancel ambient sounds as low as 46 dB.
The earbuds appear to be very similar to the Redmi Buds 4 Active based on promotional images, but the case design is different and more similar to the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. It looks to come in white and black colour options.
Meanwhile, tipster Ishan Agarwal claims that the Redmi Buds 5 will have three transparency modes. Redmi has yet to announce support for these modes, but the company does mention that the TWS earphones will have multiple sound modes.
According to the tipster, the Redmi Buds 5 will support dual-device pairing and may also include Google Fast Pair for faster connection to paired devices. The company has also revealed that the TWS earphones will include dual microphones and an AI call enhancement feature for improved clarity during calls.
While the Chinese smartphone maker did not specify the battery life of the buds, it did claim that the case would provide users with up to 38 hours of playtime. According to leaks, the earbuds might get ten hours of playback.
