Shiromani Akali Dal celebrates 98th Foundation Day today
The second oldest party in country, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) will observe its its 98th foundation day in Gurudwara Manji Sahib at Amritsar on Friday.
SAD,whose entire history is full of movements and struggle was formed on December 14 in 1920.Master Tara Singh was the first president of SAD.

Former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, Former Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal, the entire party leadership including Bikram Singh Majithia , Sharanjit Singh Dhillon,Gulzar Singh Ranike and other prominent persons including Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) President Gobind Singh Longowal will attend the function at Amritsar.

Meanwhile,the SAD will also commemorate its 98th foundation day in various assembly constituencies across the state.
