Star cricketer Kuldeep Yadav gets engaged to Childhood friend in Lucknow

PTC News Desk: India's star cricketer Kuldeep Yadav on Wednesday got engaged to her childhood friend Vanshika in a private ceremony held in Lucknow. he ceremony was kept intimate with close family and friends in attendance. 


The engagement took place at a venue in the city where the couple exchanged rings, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their lifelong bond.


Vanshika hails from Uttar Pradesh and is currently employed at LIC and the couple shares a deep-rooted friendship since their childhood. The companionship over the years grew stronger and blossomed into love, culminating into a heartwarming engagement. 


While the off-field milestone has added happiness to Kuldeep’s personal life, his cricketing journey remains a testament to perseverance and adaptation.


Turning out for the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2025, the 30-year-old left-arm wrist-spinner delivered a solid performance, taking 15 wickets in 14 games with an economical rate of 7.08 and an average of 24.07. His standout spell of 3/22 highlighted his ongoing value in the T20 arena.


Since debuting for India in 2017, Kuldeep has been a consistent contributor across formats, particularly in ODIs, where he has taken over 180 wickets.


His clever variations, especially the tricky ‘chinaman’ delivery, have frequently turned matches in India’s favor.
