Punjab Assembly Elections 2022
Sucha Singh Chhotepur of the Shiromani Akali Dal unsuccessfully contested the Punjab Assembly elections from Batala. He was polled 23,251 votes. He had joined the SAD on December 9, 2021, after serving as the state convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Punjab. He also remained with the Congress.
