Punjab Assembly Elections 2022:Surinder Singh Sodhi is a former hockey player who has been instrumental in India's 1980 Olympic gold medal win.
He played in the centre forward position and assisted team India in winning the medal after 16 years of hiatus.
The former player joined Aam Aadmi Party in April 2021 and has been positioned in the Jalandhar Cantt constituency for the upcoming Punjab Assembly Elections 2022.
