Tragic tale of Thames: Days after the tragic and heart-breaking death of Indian student Varun Raj Pucha who fought for his life for weeks in the wake of a horrific stabbing incident with a knife by his assailant inside a public gym in October and another distressing incident of Indian-origin student assaulted in Australia battling with life, another spine-chilling and horrific incident from London came to limelight which gripped tensions and chaos worldwide.
In yet another dreadful, distressing and spine-chilling incident, 23- year-old Indian youth who went missing in United Kingdom last month found dead in Thames river in London.

Metropolitan Police discovered body of 23- year-old Indian youth identified as Mitkumar Patel in the Thames near the Canary Wharf area of east London, and paramedics pronounced him dead.
"The death is not believed to be suspicious," said the Met Police.
The Indian student, Mitkumar Patel (23) arrived in UK to set his future and for higher studies on September 19, 2023 but his dreams of foreign shores turns into nightmare just after two months as he has been reported missing since November 17, 2023.
Hailing from family of a farmer who used to live in village, Mitkumar Patel (23) arrived in UK to fulfill dreams of his families.
As per the media reports, the Indian student was due to move to Sheffield on November 20 to start a degree at Sheffield Hallam University and a part-time job at Amazon.
Meanwhile, in an initiative to send Mitkumar Patel body back to India, a Go Fund Me online fundraiser has been launched by one of relatives of Mitkumar Patel and raised over GBP 4,500 since last week.
The appeal reiterates that the funds will be safely transmitted to Mitkumar's family in India.
