The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) has sent investigators to Prince George to examine the incident. Investigators are expected to look into the aircraft's technical condition, flight details, weather conditions and the circumstances surrounding the emergency landing.

Officials said the final cause of the crash will only be known after the investigation is completed.
